I am a dynamic, innovative teacher with a passion to make learning truly memorable and enjoyable. With over twenty years' teaching experience, including roles as Assistant Head and Key Stage 2 Leader, I have a clear understanding of how to inspire and motivate children. I believe in creating an environment in which children feel safe to ask questions and learn from their mistakes. I have an in-depth knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and of how to prepare children, and indeed parents, for the 11 Plus Test. I am extremely passionate about bringing learning to life through a range of teaching strategies.
Run from my home in Dinton, I am now taking bookings for classes for individuals and for groups of up to four children on weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings from September 2018. Before then, there is potential for some weekend or school holiday tuition. My classes for Year 5 children focus on preparation for the 11 Plus exam, unless agreed otherwise. Haddenham Youth Football Club (HYFC) is the most popular sports club in our beautiful Buckinghamshire village.
Our mission is to nurture a love of the game, team spirit and sense of belonging to an inclusive, family friendly Club.
Established in 1995, we currently have around 400 registered players across 22 sides.
We use two main sets of pitches – Woodways for our younger teams and the Airfield for our upper age ranges – as well as Cuddington Playing Fields for our U17, U18 and Ladies teams. Some training sessions take place on the MUGA at the Junior School.
We take players from Year Reception all the way through to U18 including four dedicated Girls teams as well as a Ladies side and Walking football for over 45s.
Most training sessions take place on Saturday mornings with league matches on Sundays.
With a growing community, we aim to attract more players, add more teams, enhance our coaching offer, improve our playing facilities and bag more wins, big or small.

The Trustees of Haddenham Parochial Charities are: Alan Rose (291004); Steve Sharp (290597); John Wheeler (296134); John Wilson (291200).
The Haddenham Parochial Charities consist of the three registered ancient charities:
Alms Corn (237265)
Joseph Franklin (204185)
Revd John Willis (205529)
They were originally intended to provide bread, coal, and seed corn for the poor of the parish. Nowadays grants of money are made. In 1903 the trustees bought the allotment field to rent to the Parish Council. This gave an income for the charities as well as providing the benefit of allotments for the village.
The Haddenham Parochial Charities now make payments of money to individuals in need and to parish organisations that help those in need.
Applications for a grant are sought from individuals from 01 November to 01 December for payment before Christmas. Application forms are made available at the Post Office, the Medical Centre, the Parish Office, and Blooming Fruity. Names of applicants are kept confidential to the trustees.
'Heartbeat Haddenham' was established under the auspices of the Parish Council to raise money to purchase and install publicly accessible Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in the village. There are now seven AEDs in the village that are ready for emergency use by the general public and available 24/7 -- see map in "Emergency Defibrillators" item at bottom of the Homepage of this website.
