I have some spaces available for adults who would like to learn to play piano either as a beginner or for those wanting to brush up existing skills.
I am a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and work as a professional pianist, having taught up to diploma level for 20 years.
I am a friendly, approachable teacher and love to watch enthusiastic students progress, whatever their level!
Adult lessons would take place on a week day between 9.30 and 2.30 – day tbc.
(Unfortunately I have no available slots for children after school.)

Taylor-Made Education is offering a range of small tuition groups at St Mary's Centre, Haddenham from September 2021.
I have 28 years of primary school teaching experience and was the Headteacher of an outstanding primary school until August 2019 when I set up Taylor-Made Education. I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Educational Practice and the National Award for Special Educational Needs Co-ordination.
I understand that the Secondary School Transfer Tests (11+) can be a stressful time for children and parents. As a parent you want to give your child the best chance to perform well, without causing unnecessary anxiety. I am a dynamic, innovative teacher with a passion to make learning truly memorable and enjoyable. With over twenty years' teaching experience, including roles as Assistant Head and Key Stage 2 Leader, I have a clear understanding of how to inspire and motivate children. I believe in creating an environment in which children feel safe to ask questions and learn from their mistakes. I have an in-depth knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and of how to prepare children, and indeed parents, for the 11 Plus Test. I am extremely passionate about bringing learning to life through a range of teaching strategies.
Run from my home in Dinton, I am now taking bookings for classes for individuals and for groups of up to four children on weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings from September 2018. Before then, there is potential for some weekend or school holiday tuition. My classes for Year 5 children focus on preparation for the 11 Plus exam, unless agreed otherwise. Classes for Years 3 and 4 provide the children with strong foundations in Maths and English.
