As you may be aware the emerging Neighbourhood Plan for Haddenham identifies land at the airfield as a potential location for new homes. No numbers have been formally quoted, but informed sources in the village suspect that 150-200 homes could be anticipated by developers.
Lands Improvement, who own the site, are holding a series of Community Design Workshops in June, and are inviting local residents to discuss the potential development and to hear our priorities and aspirations for the village. Most of the sessions will be held in St Mary's Centre at Church End. However, the schedule also includes two "site visits" to view the area under consideration for development.
Everybody is welcome to attend any of the sessions listed below, however Lands Improvement have requested that attendees register where stated.
The two workshop days on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th June will consist of identical sessions allowing local residents the opportunity to select the session that is most convenient. You are welcome to attend as many or as few of the sessions as you wish. Lands Improvement are keen to start promptly on both days so please aim to arrive a few minutes before the event.
