On 20th November 2023, Beryl House, Aged 91, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, sadly passed away at the Mandeville Grange Nursing Home in Aylesbury.
Born at Lower Winchendon, Beryl married Wally in 1951 and they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 2001. They lived for a number of years in Aylesbury before moving to Churchway Haddenham in 1982, and then to Willis Road in 1997.
Beryl worked part time for a number of years at the then Martin's on Bank's Parade. A keen walker she also was a regular bridge player at a number of clubs in the village and an attendee at the Ceilidhs that were held in the village hall. Beryl was also a longtime member of Haddenham Short Mat Bowls Club and Haddenham Baptist Church.
The funeral will be held on Monday 11th December, at 12.00 noon, at Haddenham Baptist Church, Stockwell, Haddenham. It will be followed immediately by burial in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Wooden Spoon Unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
