On Saturday 14th October the Village Society is hosting another Community Fair. It will take place in the village hall from 14:00 until 17:00 and admission is free.
This is the fourth such event, designed to provide an opportunity for a broad range of local clubs, societies and service providers to showcase their activities and recruit new members.
Staffed information stands will be in the main hall and there will be a number of live demonstrations and displays in the Mable Parkinson room at the far end of the hall.
The Village Society committee hopes that the many new residents especially, but also long-established members of the Haddenham community, will discover activities and services that were previously unknown to them – and take steps to engage in a new activity or pastime as a result.
Joining a local club or society is a great way to make new friends and be part of the activities that help build a richer sense of community.
A booklet will be available for just 50p which summarises the aims, activities and contact details of all the clubs and groups present at the Fair, and is designed to provide a useful source of reference for residents.
If a particular activity or service need is not listed, we recommend that you try the search function on the community website, where an even wider listing of local organisations is maintained. See www.haddenham.net
