"Carrie" the Community Vehicle continues to offer a safe and comfortable door-to-door personal service for clients with mobility issues. But we need more drivers! This important work can be very fulfilling for a relatively small investment of personal time. Carrie is an adapted VW Caddy automatic and training will be given in the transport of wheelchair passengers. The Community Vehicle can help out with visits to shops and relatives, clinics and hospitals. The service must be booked in advance. To find out more and to book a journey, please call our co-ordinator, as above. The service is free to Buckinghamshire residents of Haddenham, Long Crendon, Chearsley, Dinton, Longwick, Bishopstone and surrounding villages for trips of up to of 20 miles. Donations always welcome.
