As we reported in March 2017 see here Richborough Estates is looking to build 72 new homes on a 12 acres (4.9 Hectares) plot of land at the North-Eastern edge of Churchway (beyond the post office, opposite Rosemary Lane).

At the end of July last year AVDC refused planning permission for various reasons, including the view that "the proposed development was unacceptable, being on a greenfield site within open countryside, which fails to demonstrate a relationship to the existing settlement pattern" of Haddenham.

We now learn that Richborough Estates has lodged a formal appeal again AVDC's decision. Here's the official notification as communicated to Haddenham Parish Council:

TOWN & COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 APPEAL UNDER SECTION 78
