Following reaction from some local residents to an item in the latest edition of Haddenham Village News, published on behalf of the Parish Council, editor Richard Moore offers the following:
"In the item in the Village News letter about the Red Lion it was erroneously suggested that the shops in Haddenham are not 'top-notch'.
The use of this phrase is regretted and the Editor unreservedly apologises."
