Despite a dubious weather forecast and various other activities going on in the village on Sunday 16th June, not least the 'Big Picnic' on Church End green, Freda Dorrell's fundraising afternoon was well attended.
The event provided a lovely social afternoon that was also blessed with bright sunshine. It was clear that those who came really enjoyed themselves.
Freda would like to offer her grateful thanks to all who supported her fundraising efforts, to the extent that £153.60 was raised for Hearing Dogs and for Leukaemia/Lymphoma Research.
