Haddenham Horticultural Society Annual Open Show, Saturday 3rd September 2022: Haddenham Village Hall
Public Viewing 2.00 — 4.00 p.m., followed by presentation of trophies and raffle draw
Admission: 50p senior citizens and children; £1.00p others
The Show offers a wide range of classes for vegetables, fruit, flowers, cacti and succulents, floral art, domestic (preserves, baking and bread), beer and wine, art, crafts and photography, plus children's classes.
There is also a raffle, tombola, plant sale and refreshments.
Non-members are very welcome to compete — there are classes to suit everyone, including a range of special classes for children of different age groups.
Entries close at 8 p.m. on Wednesday 31st August (entry fees per class: 10p members, 20p non-members, all children's classes free).
Staging of exhibits is from 7.00 — 8.30 p.m. on Friday 2nd September and 8.00 — 9.50 a.m. on Saturday 3rd September.
Pick up a Yearbook, including the Schedule for all the Show classes and an entry form, from Blooming Fruity, Bradmoor Farm Shop, The Cottage Bakery, Haddenham Co-op, Haddenham Garden Centre and the Library in Haddenham; also from Hartwell Nursery in Stone, Bizzie Lizzie in Thame and Penns Nursery in Longwick, or telephone Gayton Jordan on 01844 291490 or e-mail her at gay.jordan@outlook.com
