Haddenham Horticultural Society will be hosting its Annual Open Show on Saturday 7th September in the Village Hall.
Public Viewing is from 2.00pm – 4.00 p.m., followed by the presentation of trophies and the raffle draw
Admission: 50p senior citizens and children; £1.00p others
The Show offers a wide range of classes for vegetables, fruit, flowers, cacti and succulents, floral art, domestic (preserves, baking and bread), beer and wine, art, crafts and photography, plus children's classes.
There is also a raffle, tombola, plant sale and refreshments.
Non-members are very welcome to compete – there are classes to suit everyone, including a range of special classes for children of different age groups up to 18 years.
Entries close at 8 p.m. on Wednesday 4th September (entry fees per class: 10p members, 20p non-members, all children's classes free).
Staging of exhibits is from 7.00 – 8.30 p.m. on Friday 6th and 8.00 – 9.50 a.m. on Saturday 7th September.
