Do you enjoy using Haddenham Community Library? Would you like to help it to continue and grow? Are you looking to give your time, energy, and attention to something that matters to you and is important to the community in which you live?
If so, then becoming a trustee of the Haddenham Community Library might just be the best match for your skills set, schedule and interests!
As a community-based charity, we are looking for local people to join the Board of Trustees who run the library.
As a trustee you will be responsible not only for the management and effectiveness of the library service but also ensure that we look after our assets, meet our financial obligations, and operate within the legal framework of a charity.
We are on the lookout for imaginative people who would like to use their education, training, natural proficiency, and professional experience to help keep this valuable community asset working and developing to meet the needs of our growing and changing community
You would be joining a group of people from all walks of life who are passionate about the library and who give their time freely to ensure it stays at the centre of community life. Your contribution will be much appreciated and you can make a real difference and at the same time get a lot of enjoyment in the process!
If you are interested, then please visit the library website where you can find a trustee job description and information about the library.
If you are considering applying then please first e-mail Susan Toner, Board Chair at librarymanager@haddenhamcommunitylibrary.org.uk and leave your preferred contact details so she can give you more information about the post and explain the application process.
