Mindfulness 06

The word Mindfulness has become something of a buzzword. It seems to be everywhere. From colouring books to spa retreats, the opportunities to become 'mindful' seem endless.

But what is mindfulness and how can it help in your life?

Mindfulness is a way of finding space amid your thoughts, a still point, which allows you to understand and deal with the ups and downs of daily life more effectively

If that sounds interesting, now's your chance to find out more. Haddenham Mindfulness Group is holding an open workshop on Sunday 4th December, from 15:45 until 18:00.

The workshop is on the subject of living 'A Mindful Life'. It will be a practical session with guidance and exercises on mindfulness and meditation. There will also be a short talk.

The aim is give those new to the practice an opportunity to find out what it's all about.

We also hope to provide opportunities for more experienced meditators to meet others.

Refreshments will be available and you'll be able to talk with others, including people from Haddenham Mindfulness Group (now renamed the Haddenham Meditation Group).

If you'd like to find out more, please call Ed on (07973) 934311 or email edrowe0@gmail.com. Or is you prefer just turn up to the workshop.

If you are coming, please arrive promptly for 15:45 — this would be much appreciated and allow us to keep on schedule.

There's no fee for the event, but a voluntary donation towards the hire of the room would help us meet our costs.

Haddenham Meditation Group is a loose network of people who are interested in mindfulness and meditation. We meet weekly to support each other in the practice of mindfulness. Meetings are informal and open to everyone. There's no commitment required and no fee.
