A new Rector has been appointed for the Wychert Vale Benefice, which embraces the churches of St Mary's in Haddenham, St Nicholas in Cuddington, St Peter & Paul in Dinton, St Nicholas in Kingsey, St Michael & All Angels in Aston Sandfordand St John the Baptist in Stone
The churchwardens are pleased to announce that the Revd Cassa Messervy has been formally offered the position of rector of our benefice by the Bishop of Buckingham.
Cassa is presently vicar of Holy Trinity Church, Seer Green and Jordans and Assistant Area Dean, Amersham Deanery.
She will join us in Spring 2021.
A new phase in the life of our Benefice is beginning which no doubt will be exciting and challenging as God leads us forward.

We were very saddened to learn of the passing of Haddenham resident, Paul Shearman.He died unexpectedly on 3rd April 2021 at home, and the funeral is on Saturday 24th April, at the Aylesbury Vale Crematorium. Because of the small attendance with Covid, the cortege will slowly travel to St Mary's Church in Haddenham at 9.30am on Saturday should anyone want to come and pay their respects...
