Essential maintenance work on the driveway into Snakemoor will make it necessary to close the nature reserve for most of this coming Saturday, 13th May for reasons of safety.
Work will start at 8:00am, and is expected to be complete by mid afternoon.
The driveway has gradually fallen into a poor state of repair, with mud and debris making access ever-more difficult.
The surface will be mechanically scraped to improve its standard for pedestrian, vehicular and contractor use.
