Current owners of the Rose & Thistle pub have applied to Buckinghashire Planners for 'Change of Use' — i.e., from a pub to a residential house.
The Parish Council and the Village Society are both strongly opposed to this application and have (or will be) submitting their objections before the end of December 2023.
Local residents are encouraged to lodge their own comments within this time frame also.
PLEASE DO SO!
Those choosing to submit comments need to ensure that they relate strictly to planning matters rather than to more emotional concerns — the latter will simply be ignored by the planning authority.
A good steer is provided by the objections raised by Haddenham Parish Council — see the PDF featured on this webpage.
You will need to register on the Bucks Planning website before you will be able to submit comments, but the process is very straightforward.
