A Statutory Consultation commenced on Wednesday 7th August 2024, for the introduction of a 30mph speed limit order on various roads within The Grove residential development, Haddenham.
This development consists of over 300 two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes. There are a variety of nearby schooling opportunities and playgrounds, providing a pull to the area for young families, increasing the number of young children to the area. Some concerns have been raised regarding anti-social speeding in the area.
There is some street lighting present across the development, however the current arrangement of lighting columns does not automatically restrict the road to 30mph. Therefore, a Traffic Regulation Order is required to impose a 30mph speed limit upon these residential roads.
