Local Housebuilder to Sponsor Junior Girls' Football Team
The new junior girls' team at Haddenham Youth Football Club has received a £500 sponsorship from local housebuilder Dandara, who is building The Grove development opposite Tiggywinkles in Haddenham.
Dandara's donation will go towards all the kit and equipment needed to set up the new team, giving young girls in the area the opportunity to join and play. The sponsorship also includes a pitch-side banner with Dandara's logo, reflecting the housebuilders commitment to engaging with the local community.
This is not the first time Dandara has supported the football club, earlier this year the housebuilder donated brand new kits to the Haddenham Ladies Football Club.
Andy Roff, Chairman of Haddenham Youth Football, said "We are extremely grateful to Dandara for their generous sponsorship of the new junior girls' team. We have not been immune from the financial impacts of the coronavirus pandemic, so we are so pleased to be able to continue to offer new opportunities for young girls to join the club and this wouldn't be possible without Dandara's help.
We have been established since 1995 and funding the girls' football team for four years, so this sponsorship allows the club to continue to support our female footballers."
Simon Pendlebury, Sales and Marketing Director for Dandara, said: "Dandara is very proud to offer our continued support to Haddenham Football Club. We are more than happy to have been able to give the new junior girls' team at Haddenham Football Club the money they needed to start their footballing journey, and we wish them the best of luck in their future matches!"
Dandara's new development The Grove is around half a mile from Haddenham Youth Football Club, where a collection of two bedroom bungalows and two, three and four bedroom homes are available.
