Each year Haddenham reveals a range of gardens — large, small, traditional and modern — all well worth a visit.
The Open Gardens this year, on Sunday 2nd July, again organised by the Haddenham Community Support Group for Florence Nightingale Hospice, was blessed with lovely weather, nine interesting gardens, and delicious cakes for tea.
Villagers and visitors from near and far enjoyed the day and helped to raise a wonderful £2265 for the Hospice.
Of course, the success of the day was due to the supportive garden owners and to the small band of hardworking volunteers, including some Scouts & Guides, who were all hands-on at this event.
Thanks to all for helping to raise funds for our local, valuable Hospice.
