Haddenham Players are putting on a production of Frank Vickery's 'Trivial Pursuits': a summer evening's BBQ is the setting for a meeting of the Haddenham Operatic Society. Next season's play is to be announced but Nick, the society's business manager has promised a different show and the plum roles to four different people.
Do come along to Haddenham St Mary's School on 2nd or 3rd October (7pm for 7.30pm) to watch the evening progress and see the complex relationships between players emerge as moments of pure slapstick and farce alternate with ones full of real drama and pathos.
There will be a raffle and a bar and tickets (£7) are on sale from the Library and Blooming Fruity or available through the Box Office on 01844 299596
