Haddenham Horticultural Society is running an evening outing next Thursday (21st April), going to Mick Penn's Nursery in Longwick to view a working nursery and the propagation techniques used, with plants on show and available to purchase at a discount if wished.
This is open to non-members as well as members. It will either be on a car share basis (meet in Haddenham Village Hall car park at 6.15 for departure at 6.20pm. — visit starts at 6.30) or you can go independently and meet us at the Nursery at 6.30pm.
In either case please book with me in advance (by this Monday evening — 18th April — at latest please) so I can give the Penns an idea of the numbers attending and also please let me know whether you are willing to drive, would like a lift or are going independently.
To book please PM me on Facebook, email me at gay.jordan@outlook.com or call 01844 291490 (leave a message if no answer).
There is no charge for the visit, but voluntary contributions will be collected during the evening for donation to charity (the Rennie Grove Hospice Care).
There will also be tea/coffee and biscuits at the end of the demonstration.
