Haddenham & District Rotary Club hosted another of its impressive 'Young Photographer' competitions during the first half of 2018, and this came to fruition with an awards ceremony held at Haddenham St Mary's School on Monday evening 5th June.
Local professional photographer, Paul Wilkinson, was master of ceremonies.
As well as providing an amusing and consistently entertaining line of banter (we suspect he moonlights as a stand-up!) Paul also provided valuable insights into the quality of the images submitted and offered gentle suggestions as to how they might have been improved still further. As a result, both audience members and the young competitors gained valuable insights.
The subject theme this year, for all age groups, was "CONTRASTS".
And it was clear from the prize-winning entries that the young photographers had been highly creative in their visual interpretations of the theme.
A full display of the Commended and Award Winning images can be seen in the Galleries section of this website, along with photographs of each of the talented youngsters receiving their prizes.
