Haddenham residents were delighted to see the Green Dragon pub re-open in August, and now there is a new management and catering team in place. We welcome Patrick Hunter (General Manager), Amy Johnston (Chef) and Susie Smith (Bar).
Food is available and the pub is taking booking for the Festive Menu, which starts on the 1st of December. The new team are also offering a special menu on Tuesdays for the more mature person. Starters are priced at £2.50 and mains at £5.95. Additionally Wednesday will be Steak Night: two steaks and a bottle of wine for £26.95.

The Children of St Mary's primary school have made the covers for the new children's menu (see photo) which are been printed as you read this. They are also all looking forward to coming to the Green Dragon for their Christmas dinner and if they are very good Santa may come to say 'Hi'!
The Green Dragon was taken over in the summer by Alan Edmeades and Brian Taylor, who already have four other pubs in Buckinghamshire & Bedfordshire.
New General Manager Patrick says "we would like to welcome every one to the Green Dragon including our four legged friends (dogs). So if it's a quick pint or a sit down meal that you want the Green Dragon is the place to come."
"The new head chef, Amy, has lived in Haddenham for four years and has already taken steps to source her culinary ingredients from well known local suppliers — so the omens look very good for those who enjoy eating well whilst enjoying the traditional pub ambiance."
"Pop inside out of the cold to sit in front of our roaring fires, and join us for fresh coffees and home-baked cakes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8.30am."
Beers on offer include those from locally brewed XT and the very popular Doom Bar from Rock in Cornwall. The guest beer changes weekly, the next one is Green Dragon appropriately enough, so why not pop on down and give it a try?
Some physical upgrades are also being planned. The pub's new outside dining area has been put to bed for winter but there's plenty of seating inside by the open fires. In the longer term, kitchen developments are also planned.
