The Village Picture House plans to reopen in a few weeks' time, providing that the Government confirms the expected easing in lockdown restrictions on 17th May.

Our first screening is 42nd Street: The Musical on Thursday 3rd June – a lavish production of the legendary Broadway classic captured live at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. This will be followed at fortnightly intervals by the films The Good Liar, Military Wives and Knives Out.

Screenings will be subject to Government guidelines, which means limiting the seating capacity to around 50% of normal to start with. Social distancing will need to be observed and face masks will be compulsory, except when eating or drinking. There will be a one-way system of entrance and exit, as much ventilation as possible, and chairs will be specially arranged to suit the size of each group of people who have bought tickets.

Refreshments will not be available for the time being. You are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks however, but please take away your empties and rubbish afterwards.

Tickets are available online at cuddingtonvillage.com/cinema, and there are a very limited number of tickets in Cuddington Stores for anyone without email. Shop sales and online bookings will close at 4.00 pm on the day, so that we can lay out the chairs as required, and there will be no tickets available on the door.
